Where can I go online to get free fonts?

Question: Where can I go online to get free fonts?
It’s not that I’m unwilling to pay for fonts, but when I type “free [font name] font” in my search engine I should at least get some results that are actually free! I get a lot of results, and when I click on them they take me to a site that tells me they have that font for FREE (yes, they actually say they have it for free). But then I’m redirected to a paid font site showing me the font I’m seeking and how much it will cost. While I know the web can be pretty lawless, it seems to me this goes beyond misleading! But enough of my rant… I’m just looking free font resources that won’t jerk me around. Anyone have any tips? THANKS! (FYI, the specific font I’m seeking at the moment is French Script).

Before you answer I’ve already tried searching, and i dont need someone to just leave a random “freefont.com” url. Most of those free font sites only have like 20 generic free fonts. Im looking for the specific font “Garamond Antiqua” and/or “Gill Sans MT Bold”. Any help would be great. Thanks

Does anyone know a website where I can download free fonts?

Question: Does anyone know a website where I can download free fonts?
I keep typing in “free fonts” on the Google search engine. Every time I run through all the websites, it keeps sending me back to one where I must pay $ 29. I’m not spending that much money on a damn font. All I’m looking for is somewhere I can download the Century Gothic font for free. If anyone knows any free websites, please be sure to let me know. Thank you.

Where can I find free “random fonts” that resemble handwriting?

Question: Where can I find free “random fonts” that resemble handwriting?
I was told that I could get them from DaFont.com, but that site seems to no longer exist! Does anyone know of a free source for “random” fonts that cause each use of a letter to be slightly different to resemble actual handwriting. Thanks

btw. I HAVE spent the last two hours looking for them using yahoo/google with no luck, only false claims.

I use a website called free-fonts.com, which has a few handwriting fonts. Will any of these work?
