Question: Dreamweaver turns fonts to default on the web…?
Hi

I’m building a site and using the windows font “chiller”

When I view my site from my mac… the font is set to a default!

Is there a way to make the font viewable even if a person on another computer doesn’t have it downloaded?

thanks!

No. The client computer must have the font downloaded to view the font. this is why almost all websites use basic fonts.

trying to find the font “Garamond Antiqua” and/or “Gill Sans MT Bold for free on the web. Any ideas where?

Before you answer I’ve already tried searching, and i dont need someone to just leave a random “freefont.com” url. Most of those free font sites only have like 20 generic free fonts. Im looking for the specific font “Garamond Antiqua” and/or “Gill Sans MT Bold”. Any help would be great. Thanks
